Spain – Andalucia

...In August, children eat dark and tasty Luna bread.

August - Federico Garcia Lorca

Landing at 8.45 am at Seville airport has the charm of allowing you a second breakfast, very different from the one eaten with half-closed eyes at Bergamo airport. In a small town towards the province of Huelva, I encounter my first prosciutto with bread, oil and coffee, enough to understand where I am at. No problem, following the last Iberian pigs walking peacefully under the oaks, requires a few calories. In Jabugo, we find the essence of Spanish ham production of excellence and taste extraordinary delicacies before heading towards Cordoba. Visiting these cities is the perfect reward for the trip and the digestion! The Mesquita stands peaceful and unaltered through the centuries, as not even the Guadalquivir can do, while the scents and flavours of this journey enter your heart and fill you with pure joy.
